Standard Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair, replace it. No Refund to all Funds Paid, subject to the below terms and conditions.
-We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality, and in good working order without defects.

What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a valid return. These issues would require shipping, handling charges and repair costs (if needed) to be covered by you:

faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
No liquid-damaged devices will be covered by our warranty regardless of the manufacturer’s advertisements regarding water resistance. The liquid resistance is tested under strict conditions and due to the nature of our business being pre-owned, there is no way of testing the seals. Consequently, we are unable to guarantee the effectiveness of these seals, making it necessary to exclude liquid-damaged devices from our warranty coverage.
damage arising from negligence, or user damage. This includes drop and liquid damage or incorrect usage of the product.
damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the software or a device being locked due to too many incorrect password attempts made;
Unwanted products (change of preference).
Products that function as advertised, but are deemed by you to be unfit for the intended purpose.
All product descriptions are there to best represent the product advertised, we take no responsibility for any cases where a user failed to read the description of a product pertaining to the condition, functions or accessories(what the device comes with) upon purchasing and therefore would not qualify as a valid warranty return.

-No Returns on Incorrect Purchases, please contact us if you unsure of the Handset you want to purchase. Fashion Stride will not be held liable for any incorrect purchases
-Standard OBF – Out of Box Failure Applies to all new Local Stock Handsets purchase, OBF policy: Phone should be returned within 6 days from the date of purchase with all original packaging and content.

Physical damage – all devices

There must be no physical damage on the product or its accessories, or any signs of neglect due to: physical abuse, liquid damage, screen scratches, dents or marks.

Please Note: Physical damage (including seemingly trivial surface scratches, marks, etc.) could result in an OBF claim being rejected. In the event that you experience a problem with your new device, you are encouraged to return it to the outlet as soon as possible to reduce the risk of an OBF rejection due to physical damage.

OBF terms and conditions:

i. Items must be returned within 6 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase that is printed on the official invoice (proof of purchase).

ii. The original invoice (proof of purchase) as received at the point of sale must be supplied.

iii. All devices must be assessed by the Networks technician for any faults reported by the client before being exchanged. This assessment may take up to 7 (seven) calendar days. (Timeframe may be influenced by location, courier delays and/or public holidays).

iv. Devices that meet the OBF criteria but are faulty due to software issues (incorrect version of software) and that can be resolved by way of a software upgrade are not considered OBF at this stage in the OBF resolution process.

– A software upgrade will be performed free of charge in an attempt to resolve the fault.

– Should this software upgrade fail to resolve the fault, and the device renders faulty within 7 (seven) days of the software upgrade and/or still within a 14 (fourteen) calendar day period from date of purchase/delivery, the device will be approved as an OBF. The consumer should retain their proof of receipt of the device when the device is issued back to them after the software upgrade, as this is the date that will be applied in terms of the additional 7 (seven) day window.

– The maximum of 14 (fourteen) calendar days OBF rejection with a software version update is therefore calculated according to the time the device is in the consumer’s possession. Thus, providing a reasonable window to determine fault.

v. All data cards must be assessed by a Techinal consultant technician to confirm fault/s (a report may be requested) before an exchange can be made.

vi. Items that qualify as OBF will only be swapped for the same make and model.

vii. The original contents of the ‘box’, (device, original battery, original charger, original antenna, manual and any other accessories) must be complete and the packaging intact/in a good condition.

viii. The IMEI number on the box must match the IMEI number on the device.

ix. The physical condition of the device applies – as outlined above.

Imported (Dual Sim) Handsets carry a limited 6 Month Warranty and NO RETURNS are allowed on these handsets

We do not accept returns of Physical or Liquad Damage Handsets.

Should your device give you any issues after the 7 day OBF time, it will need to go in for repair to the manufacturer. The cost of this is on the customer expence.

-Not what you ordered?
-In rare instances where a product is incorrectly supplied, or if the product is not as described on the website, please notify us as soon as possible.

In these instances, we will collect the product at no charge.

Once we have inspected the product and validated the return, we will, at your discretion, arrange one of the following solutions:

-Deliver the correct product back as soon as possible (if the correct product or a suitable replacement is available)

-Products damaged on delivery
-Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us within 2 days of such delivery / collection by logging a return on the website.

We will arrange to collect the product at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and the video footage of how the product was packed, we will validate the return. We will then at your discretion arrange one of the following solutions:

-Repair the product as soon as possible (if such repair is possible).
-Replace the product as soon as possible (if we have a suitable product in stock to use as a replacement).

-Charges and Refunds
-Please note: under any circumstances Funds Paid to Fashion Stride are not refundable [No Refund ]
-If you return a defective product to us but fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) take one of the following routes to resolve the issue:
-Refuse the return.

-Please note: If you have purchased a cover or a screen protector for your device. We are not liable to reimburse you for the cost of the accessories you purchased for the device under any circumstances.
If you return a product that does not comply with this Policy, they may be liable to reimburse Fashion Stride for the transportation costs of the product.

-Preparing your products for a return
-To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning your products;

-Package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
-Include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
-Be sure to keep your data backed up as we take no responsibility in any data loss that may occur while the device is with us.
-Have no sim cards or memory cards inserted.
-No covers to come with the device.(Unless sold with the device)
Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether. Fashion Stride does not take responsibility for any covers, accessories, data, sim cards or memory cards that are lost during the return.
